After nearly a week of indecision and after many emails, phone calls and letters, TfL have finally gotten round to replace the unlawful signage at the junction of Marble Arch and Cumberland Gate. The blue minimum speed signs, by their erection made it quite legal to drive around Marble Arch and leave by Bayswater Road, Oxford Street or Edgware Road at a swift 40 miles per hour!
Not quite what the "Greens" have in mind for us.
Amazingly, it took TfL over 5 days to get round to replacing the signs.
With public safety in mind you would have thought the signs would have been changed as soon as they were confirmed to be wrong. (Although they should never have been erected in the first place)
Once again it shows TfL are not a fit and proper licensing authority when it comes to public safety.
