Police Officer Cut From Car After Collision With Rickshaw Bike

A police officer had to be cut out of his London Metropolitan patrol car following a collision with a rickshaw bike in Oxford Street, which left three men injured.
The roof of the car had to be cut away in order to get the trapped police officer out.

The three officers in the car remained in the vehicle until paramedics arrived at the scene. Firemen cut free the officer who was seated in the back of the car, who was then transported to hospital.
His injuries at this time are unknown.

A rickshaw was reportedly involved in the collision.

The impact of the accident left the street covered with oil and littered with parts from the police car, attracting a crowd to the entrance to Oxford Circus Tube station.

  1. There certainly won't be any insurance claim by the Met as they are involved in a multi agency policy not to police Westminster against illegal workers operating on the streets the capital.

  4. Another great scoop by the Anderson Shelter. Will the old bill now start doing something about these lawless feckers?

    Let's hope so.

And it will probably take the met commissioners daughter to get raped in a scabwagon before they do anything about touting.

  5. A horrific thing to say, even to make a point, but think before you post such things! These victims are real people with there lives in tatters and flippant remarks about how ' if it had happened to someone else things would change ' are as tasteless as they are inaccurate.
Of course touting needs to be addressed, and vetting needs to be tighter than 'from when you
entered the UK' but hypothesising such brutality goes to show exactly how much you really understand!
Drag your knuckles back to the playground and leave the serious issues to the grown-ups!!

  6. I agree it was an horrific thing to say,But unfortunately it has a ring of truth about it,The truth of the matter is those in authority dont give a shit about the average person on the street,Thats why HENDY and MASON,are quite happy to deny thier own figures.Something they wont be able to do if the National press become involved. And for that to happen it needs a high profile figure to be involved,Sad but true.
