Taxi Media, Drama Continues... By James Thomas.

It seems that Asher Moses is unhappy with the article posted on our blog.

Future Looks Bleak for Taxi Media

The article had been copied directly from the Manchester Taxi blog
and renamed.

  • Through his solicitors he professes that the comments made by drivers who are owed money, are libellous, in his opinion.
  • He also states that the letter issued by Future Outdoor Media contains several inaccuracies.
So, after an editorial meeting it was decided that as we do not act for Future Outdoor Media and as the article will remain online elsewhere, our post would be withdrawn.
Future Outdoor Media have stated, they have had no contact from Mr Moses or his solicitors with regards to the Letter published.
(If Mr Moses is that upset about the content of the letter, I would have expected him to have contacted the original author first)

We made every attempt possible to contact Mr Moses before we posted the article, to get his side of the story and to find out what, if anything, is happening about the drivers who have not been paid the money owed in commission for adverts on their vehicles.

But alas, when we phoned Taxi Media, we were given the run around by his staff.

We had hope that Mr Moses would make a statement to the trade media about the situation, but so far nothing.
Apparently a letter from Taxi Media about ‘Future Plans’ has been sent to drivers but we will not be publishing that as it may contain errors.

One of our staff will be visiting Taxi media to ascertain if and when monies owed are to be paid to drivers.

  3. hi all, i would firstly like to point out that i really dont know the in's and outs of this story of drivers not being paid, and neither do i wish to comment on the subject, but i would like to say that in my experience of dealing with mr moses or any of his staff iv never had anything other than a quick courteous service.on a more personal note i know for a fact that mr moses gives his free services to many charities, in the form of free cab wraps all done with a good heart. i think this speaks volumes about the type of man he truly is,plus the fact that a guy who lasts as long as he has doing business within our trade without ever giving us cause for concern in the past is im sure u'll agree nothing short of a miracle. having said this i hope this problem that the drivers say they are having can be resolved very quickly, as our trade is in enough trouble without a business that lets be fair has only helped financially towards driver earning potential has its reputation damaged. i for one say lets give mr moses a chance to resolve this issue without slander or childish behaviour (im not accusing anyone of either)as im sure u'll agree its long term beneficial to us all. thanks. a london cabbie 17yrs

Let's hope it happens, I have examined the companies house record of Mr Moses past enterprises. Worth a look.

WHY cannot Taxi Media issue a statement?
