UCG - REMEBERANCE SUNDAY FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

WATERLOO STATION - THE UNION JACK CLUB - THE VICTORY SERVICES CLUB

The Pride Of Briton, Forgotten by TfL.
On Sunday 14th November 2010 the United Cabbies Group will be organising a free shuttle service for all the War Veterans to get to the Cenotaph for the memorial service.

Transport for London in their wisdom have planned maintenance work on the Jubilee Line on this day, and have refused to reschedule it.

This has left many war veterans stranded and unable to attend this service!

The UCG are appalled by this, and will not just sit there and watch this happen.

We feel that it is the very least we can do to show our gratitude to these heroes who risked their lives so that we can ALL enjoy the freedom we have today.

We will be running a Free Shuttle Service from Waterloo Station, The Union Jack Club (Sandell St) and The Victory Services Club (Seymour St).

Both The Union Jack Club and The Victory Services Club have approximately 300 – 400 war veterans booked to stay there on Saturday night, so we will need as many Taxis as possible.

Our Marshalls will be in attendance at all these venues from 8am on Sunday to organise their transportation.

If you would like to offer your services of help free of charge please go to one of these venues from 8am onwards.

Even though the Taxi trade has a multitude of problems at present, we are still the ‘Best In The World’

So let’s show them!

Thank you.

What would TfL know about Honour, Bravery and Loyalty anyway.
Wonder if Boris will lay on one of his new Buses?

    Tfl:

Honour: The juicy contract they have.

Bravery: Attend Meetings with the Cab Trade and tell naked lies.

Loyalty: Stick with the party line even though I KNOW it is not the truth and trher is an underlying agenda.

These people have no concept of the meaning public service.

    See you Sunday!
