Although i wholeheartedly agree we have to demo,I can never understand the time,Why is it always in the afternoon, when most people are tucked up in thier offices,The only way to really get anyone to notice is to hit big buisnesses in thier pockets,so why not demo at say 8am in the morning in say the city,That will really disrupt the people who have the clout to do something about it,Yeah it will mean missed appointments, and cost the city thousands, but it seems to me all the big guns are worried about is ££££s,But then it will also generate more publicity to the ridiculous situation TFL has caused. They are hitting our pockets so lets hit thiers.
If you feel so strong you should have gone along to the meeting. Still the City is on the list. I believe this will not be the last action seen on the run up to Christmas.
This is the time of year businesses start to panic.
Although we should wait for the result of the consultation, as that's what the trades leaders are saying, we all know that the consultation will be more Bollixs and PH will come out of this with even more protection. While we wait, every weekend more women are being assaulted and raped. More scabs are coming in and ranking up. Less enforcement and more victimisation of Licensed taxi drivers. It's probably already too late but fyck em all let's demonstrate our feelings. Let them know we won't be pissed on. Joon the fight back, on the 17th Demonstrate your personal feelings. Move over UTG you've had your go and fycked up
The PH Consultation Document is designed to stall any action until after the busy Christmas period
The sexual assault statistics (up 54%) has been nicely swept under the carpet by TFL, with very little media coverage
The demo will put this story firmly back in the public arena and embarrass TFL and the Police, it will demonstrate to the public that satellite offices are dangerous and cannot be policed affectively.
Its important that the public are aware especially in the run up to the busy Cristmas party season
I know this demo has been called for out of frustration and lack of activity and enforcement However I think it would be prudent to wait for the result of the consultation To go on a demo regardless of the result would be deemed to be militant and childish (by the powers to be)
scenario at demo
Media: why are you demonstrating cab driver: we've had enough of lack of enforcement 54% increase in sexual attacks ect ect
Media: Britain's most prolific sex attacker was a London taxi driver(FACT)
Media: isnt there a consultation going on Taxi driver: Yes Still waiting for the result
Media:So you are demonstrating without knowing the result?
Its just a thought and what happens after D day what's the exit strategy? You do have one? Good luck

Display the posters in the back window of the cab, it will let everyone know where and when the demo is going to take place.
ReplyDeleteWell done to the UCG for calling this overdue action
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be supported by every driver
Will Grant Davis be there? He said he was at the Aldwych (with Elvis and Lord Lucan in the back of the cab)no doubt!!
ReplyDeleteWhen will the demo leaflets be ready, and where and when can we pick them up?
ReplyDeleteSo that we can plaster the whole of London with them so that everyone knows, day, date, and time.
P. S I know the start time of the demo, but is it finishing at 8pm or 10pm or midnight?

The consultation was written on a bed of lies and deceit (The evidence part 2)
ReplyDeleteThe PH consultation document does not mention anywhere TFL's intention to increase enforcement.
ReplyDeletethat in it's self is the answer to the media asking why we are having a demo before the results are announced
Who knows, TOCU could be high up on the governments cuts list, maybe the demo will make them think twice about any potential cuts in enforcement
