Wongo's view of Press Release 25/10

Tiny little mini, Goldhawk Road
Once again Mason says in effect:

1. TfL do not approve (he has no choice the law says so).
2. It is however unlikely, due to budget we will do much.
3. If we do act it MAY affect your licence.

So how many PH operators have had their licence suspended or revoked because of this offence?
I would be very surprised if there are any, despite the thousands of transgressions.
Remember if you park on a Yellow Line you get a ticket, if you do it again the day after you get another and on and on.

So once an Operator is told to remove the material (web or actual) then a seperate offence occurs every day!
Ambiguity is the INTENTION here and on almost every other notice.

Example is the SGS Testing Notice about advisory notes for missing ashtarys etc.
From my reading of it, it still seems entirely at the discretion of the tester whether they issue an Advisory or a Fail.

What do the UTG talk about with him, The best chip shop to go to!
We sure ain't getting any meaninful representation up there.

WE NEED THOSE MINUTES!

  1. It appears to me, that the only way we can force the issue of enforcement, is to make it more expensive for the authorities not enforce the regulations. There is no enforcement of any kind
regarding PH...& the authorities will just keep using this excuse, to push their agenda of putting us out of business.
A Public Inquiry is desperately needed!

  2. Mr Mason,
why is it only the Minicab Operators are devoid of enforcement...because of budget shortfalls ?
You would think, that fines being issued to these Operators would help with the budget deficit, the transgression is there for all to see, you have photographic evidence, no leg work involved...as everything is supplied by us, how hard can it be ? There is a telephone number in the above photograph, how much would it cost to ring that number & tell them they must remove or replace the sign ?

Touting in London is now at joke proportions, when are you going to make good on your promises & stamp it out ? Once again, you were supplied with evidence...but have done absolutely zilch!

Same again, with PH Vehicles parking on Taxi Ranks, you were given the photographic evidence...but you did nothing!

I ask you Mr Mason, are you out to deliberately destroy, the Best Taxi Service in the world...because that's what you're doing...& once again the evidence is there for all to see!
